MERIE is a group for Mediterranean
Exchanges on Renewable and Intelligent Energies of the HyRES
Lab: It has been Promoted, after meeting Pr A. Sayigh and J.R. Howlett, by the World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC), a major recognised forum for networking between these sectors and the Sustainability in Energy and Buildings of KES (SEB 2011), the MGEF (2013 and 2015) addresses these issues in Med Countries through regular meetings and exhibitions, bringing together representatives of all those involved in the supply, distribution, consumption and development of energy sources which are benign, sustainable, accessible and economically viable. The main idea, was to have exchanges beetwen the HyRES Lab members and the over world experts in energies... The Conference MGEF has to propose forums and conferences to communicate and present the state of art in the HyRES researches. The MGEF 2015 invited participation and paper submissions across a broad range of renewable energy and sustainability-related topics relevant to the main theme of Sustainability in Energy and Buildings. Applicable areas include technology for renewable energy and sustainability in the built environment; also optimisation and modelling techniques, information and communication technology usage, behaviour and practice, including applications. The HyRES partners propose also dedicated Journals:The Journal of Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development, available in Fikra Publishing Recently EHEI has created the Journal ofScience and Technology(EHEIJST) We propose to our partners to submit papers for a special HyRES edition: http://ehei-jst.ma/guidelines.html |

The
HyRES
Laboratory
The SASV research Group of the LIS and
his RMEI partners have created (in 2011) an International Associated Laboratory for Mediterranean collaborations
on Renewable Energies and sustainable building the HyRES
Laboratory. The HyRES
project has applied, with no succes, for a funding from the AMU in 2016.
The involved partners has continued their collaborations shared their
own efforts and supports.
The IAL main function is knowledge capitalization on Mediterranean countries specific researc in the topics of Hybrid Renewable Energy Sources and
their use in applications..
The HyRES Lab Members lead high level scientific
research developing theoretical
foundations cross domains forRenewable Energies and Sustainability, ie<
like intelligent grids, data analytics, Optimizations and comfort. The HyRES Lab has been
created as an open Lab for International cooperation of Mediterranean
Teams interested by research problems applicable to mediterranean countries
and taking into account mediterranean problems, specific features and
constraints. The HyRES Lab
has also as target to encourage research for progress of local industries
and Impacting on the related
business demand and skills,
to plan and support new specific trainings and
education programs.
