Mediterranean Green Energy Forum 2015

The Mediterranean Green Energy Forum, affilited to KES international, is held by the HyRES Lab and the MERIE Group of the RMEI of The Mediterranean Green Energy Network.

Note that the MGEF has good relations with the WREN, WREC and SEB of KES. In 2011 the SEB '11 has been hosted by the LSIS and Aix Marseille University where J.R Howlett and prof Ali Sayigh was strongly invokved In 2011 and 2013, The first MGEF have been organized in the USMBA University of Fez.
The Mediterranean Green Energy Forum (MGEF) is a major international conference on Energy and sustainability for Mediterranean countries created by the impulse of the SASV group of the LSIS with the support and helps of the RMEI network and his partners and is promoted by KES and WREN.The objectives of RMEI address education, research, innovation and economic development in the global context of individual mobility and sustainable development in the Mediterranean.
The first conference (MGEF-2013) has been hosted by the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fes, Morocco following the proposition of professor N. K. M’Sirdi. It has been jointly organised by a partnership made up of KES International, the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) and LSIS Marseilles, France.
MGEF-2013 was a combination of the annual KES Sustainability in Energy and Buildings conference and a regional meeting of the well-known World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC).
The second MGEF2015 will be held the 26-28 March 2015, hosted by Cadi Ayyad University and ENSA of Marrakech, Morocco just after the multi conference CESA CCCA..

MGEF the Forum Promoted by the World Renewable Energy Congress, a major recognised forum for networking between these sectors and the Sustainability in Energy and Buildings of KES, the MGEF addresses these issues in Med Countries through regular meetings and exhibitions, bringing together representatives of all those involved in the supply, distribution, consumption and development of energy sources which are benign, sustainable, accessible and economically viable.

MGEF Conference Partners The MGEF partners of the MGEF 2015 are Moroccan Marocan universities and research laboratories which are members of the RMEI network.

Participation to the Conference MGEF 2015The MGEF 2015 invites participation and paper submissions across a broad range of renewable energy and sustainability-related topics relevant to the main theme of Sustainability in Energy and Buildings. Applicable areas include technology for renewable energy and sustainability in the built environment; also optimisation and modelling techniques, information and communication technology usage, behaviour and practice, including applications.

Call for Papers for MGEF 2015Contributions are invited on the subjects within the conference scope and also on other relevant areas. All contributions should be of high quality, original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review period.

Selected papers presented in MGEF 2015 will be published in a Springer Book few weeks after the conference. Full papers will be reviewed by the IPC to select matter for publication after the conference in special journal issues. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for publication as full journal papers, in special issues of indexed journals like
- Energy Procedia with KES and Springer and the
- Elsevier's Procedia Energy open access journal, available in ScienceDirect and indexed/abstracted in EI Compendex, Engineering Index and Scopus.
- JRESD, journal of Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development. (online: ISSN:2356-8569 and Printed: 2356-8518). available in Fikra Publishing.
